HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

right. so me and the guys, namely, dy, joe, aldie, mitch, guowei, rasheed, melvin, yx and gavin, went to celebrate new year's last night.
first, i met up with guowei, rasheed, dy, joe, aldie and yx and headed to bugis to watch narnia. it is a good show indeed, even though it's a little ridiculous. i mean, a whole world in a bloody wardrobe?? but i guess we can't blame them because it was a childrens' book written in the nineteen fifties? ah, whatever. the show was great.
then we crossed to the opposite side to have dinner. i ate a bit. dy kept forcing food on me! lol. gavin and mitch came to find us and we hung around for a bit. cabbed down to paradiz center, met up with melvin and headed to a shisha place to have a drink and to wait for the countdown. they smoked, i didn't. i just drank my chilled apple tea and talked to hsinrui on the phone for half an hour. was supposed to get her to join us but i failed terribly. took many photos. they were acting gay, you see. after that, they ambushed joe in the alley, bullied him. hahaha. poor guy.

we walked almost the whole stretch of orchard to get to botanic gardens. those banglas (indian guys) were swarming the whole of orchard! some were okay, but some were just so irritating! holding their foam spray cans and spraying at innocent passerbys (like me, LOL). we got sprayed at three or four times, all were sprayed at different people in our group! they got pissed off and wanted to whack some of them but they were stopped hahaha.

so as we walked and walked, i had to intermittently lie to my mum. God, how evil is that? lying on the first day of 2006. i said i was at esplanade watching fireworks. that started at eight. in the beginning, we wanted to go there, but changed our minds as it was already pretty late when we got out of the theater. so i had to say i was trying to get a cab and that it was seriously jammed up. yeah, that lie carried on from 12 am to almost 3 am.
once we reached the botanic gardens, we went into the private estates and went in the nearest one. the one that melvin said was haunted. the walk in was already freaky enough, and when we went in it was all dark, wet and eerie. and it was almost 3am! we left right before witching hour which was 3.33am. by that time, i was already in the cab. reached home nearing 4am.

i told my mum that three guys were gonna send me home, but, yeah as you could predict, i was alone as i forgot that i said that to her. so, whee, i got lectured like fuck by my mum and she accused me of lying, which was obviously true, i kept insisting i was at esplanade (still lying..), and didn't really say much. she's alright today though. and surprisingly, my grandmother didn't even really bother about me that much about coming home so late. yep, she stayed over.

okay, enough of yesterday. oh fuck, i just wasted my whole sunday too. what is wrong with me. school is starting in a day. i'm gonna be alone in 3E. hsinrui, vivian, jean, kajie, yixiang, josh, they're all going to 3D! who the hell placed me in E? darn.

oh! did i mention? lots of those indian guys were holding hands. so many couples! and one guy even dared to squeeze gavin's arm. HAHAHA.
